Students will learn the fundamental practical skills needed in the construction field, such as: proper use of hand and power tools,
safety procedures, blueprint reading, and obtaining accurate measurements. Practical knowledge will be applied by working with drywall installation, rough and finish carpentry, framing, painting, roofing, floor installation, door and window installation, siding, restoration work, and more.
Program Highlights
- Develop, design, and construct various structures using 21st century tools and technology.
- Develop skills necessary to use and operate the same tools as a master carpenter.
- Experience and manage real life construction projects.
- Discover a variety of careers in the building trades to help make wise career decisions for your future.

Additional Information
- Students are responsible for purchasing work boots and basic hand tools.
