Out of School Suspension

The Out of School Suspension Program provides full day instructional support by certified teaching staff for high school students who have been suspended from school. Erie 1 BOCES offers both short term and long term suspension programs for students. Students suspended for one to five days by their home school have the opportunity to attend the short term program and students suspended six days or more have the opportunity to attend the long term program. Instruction in each of the core content areas is provided by certified teachers utilizing curriculum and instructional materials provided by the student's home school. Guidance counselors and social work staff also provide student support.
