Home Hospital Instruction
Grades K through 12
Home Hospital Instruction is for those students who are unable to attend school due to medical issues, students who are suspended short term or students who are in the hospital. Core subjects are provided in a 1:1 instruction setting. Certified teachers instruct on K through 12 General Education and K through 12 Special Education. Elementary students receive five hours of instruction a week and secondary students receive up to 10 hours per week (two hours of instruction per core subject).
We encourage instruction to take place in a library or public location. If instruction must be provided within the home due to medical reasons, a third-party adult must be present. Home Instruction should take place between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
