MiddleTech Overview
MiddleTech is a collaboration between Exceptional Education and Career Technical Education. It is a full day program for academically and socially at risk 7th and 8th grade students. MiddleTech incorporates CTE as part of a project based learning curriculum.
Schedule
MiddleTech runs daily at the Erie 1 BOCES Learning Center from 7:30am - 2:30pm.
From 9:45am - 11:30am students will be transported next door to the Potter Career and Technical Center for hands on experience in CTE.
Student Registration

arrangements for a tour and orientation session.

MiddleTech Questions?
A. All of our teachers hold valid and appropriate content area NYS teaching certification. In addition, there is a dedicated consultant teacher placed (special education certified) to support students and teachers.
A. Yes, there is a special education certified consultant teacher in place to provide indirect support and oversee proper IEP implementation.  
A. We do not have a need to provide related services such as OT, PT, etc. at this time. Should the need arise; we will assess each situation on an individual basis.
