MiddleTech Overview
MiddleTech is a collaboration between Exceptional Education and Career Technical Education. It is a full day program for academically and socially at risk 7th and 8th grade students. MiddleTech incorporates CTE as part of a project-based learning curriculum.

The program focuses on core academic areas with an infusion of Project Based Learning and Career Exploration.  Students will be given an opportunity to apply skills through the use of innovative technology coupled with real-world simulations.

Our goal is to provide students with non-traditional classroom opportunities that will promote team work, critical thinking, problem solving, and presentation skills.  Middle Tech students will learn skills essential to becoming a successful leader in an academic, work, or community environment
Schedule
MiddleTech runs daily at the Erie 1 BOCES Learning Center from 7:30am - 2:30pm. Students are transported next door to the Potter Career and Technical Center for hands on experience in CTE everyday from 9:45am - 11:30am.
