Campus safety and security is important to all members of the campus community.  Information regarding campus crime statistics can be accessed by visiting the US Department of Education Website at http://ope.ed.gov/Security/ .  The crime statistics include offenses reported to the Workforce Development Department for the past three years. The Supervisor of Workforce Development documents and maintains all reports of criminal activity.  Each year, prior to October 1, Workforce Development will publish crime statistics in compliance with the Clery Act and Higher Education Act.  The following statistics represent criminal offenses reported to the Workforce Development Department for the school years of 2010, 2011, and 2012.

Refund Policy
Tuition Obligation Policy for Full Time Students
 
This tuition obligation policy only applies to students who are enrolled in a Full Time Program. A Full Time Program is more than 100 clock hours in length. The enrollment periods in which tuition obligations apply are determined under the following terms:
  • Programs under 600 hours will follow the First Term portion of the policy only.
  • A program withdrawal request will become effective immediately upon notification to an Erie 1 BOCES Workforce Development Program Specialist.

Fees 
$100 in program fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Supply / Book Refund Policy
Books and/or supplies may be refunded within the first week of a program in new and unused condition only. Students who have paid the supply fee but have not yet received their merchandise will receive a full refund. 
 
Tuition Obligation Policy for Part Time Students
This tuition policy applies to programs that are under 100 clock hours in length. Tuition refunds will be made only under the following circumstances:
 
  1. Cancellation of Course: A full refund will be made if a class is cancelled due to insufficient registrations.
  2. Withdrawals: A full refund will be made for withdrawal prior to the start of class.
  3. A refund will be given to students only if they withdraw prior to the second night of class.           
 
*Refunds may take up to 30 days to process and receive.
