Labor Relations - Level 3 (Customized)

This service provides for a customized Labor Relations/Human Resources service designed to meet particular needs of the district.  Can include special projects and dedicated Labor Relations staff for a defined period of time or for an entire fiscal year.

Available to non-component districts (or component districts participating in Level 1 that require additional customized Labor Relations services or Human Resources functions).



Erie 1 BOCES Labor Relations Service staff can provide on-site support for various labor relations/HR functions, such as:
  • Support for Personnel Functions and Operations
  • Appointments, Probationary/Provisional status, Granting of Tenure
  • Abolishment, Layoff and Recall
  • Employee Evaluation; Employee Misconduct; Discipline and Discharge
  • Harassment/Discrimination
  • Leave of Absence/Attendance Issues 
  • Staff Development

Available to non-component districts (or component districts participating in Level 1 that require additional customized Labor Relations Services).


District to provide for the Labor Relations staff:
  • A workspace including a desk and chair
  • District email address
  • Computer with high speed internet access or ability to access District's wireless network using personal device 
  • Printer access
  • District desk phone
